Vitaliy Buyalskyi shared his confidence about "Dynamo Kyiv's" preparation ahead of their first official match of the season against Maltese side "Hamrun Spartans" in the Champions League second qualifying round.

"We had a very good training camp. First in Kyiv, then in Austria. In my opinion, we are 100% prepared," – stated the Ukrainian midfielder during the pre-match press conference.

Buyalskyi acknowledged one challenge facing the team – the lack of competitive matches so far this season. "Our problem is that we haven't played official matches yet, so we'll do the same things we did during training camps," he explained.

The captain believes "Dynamo" has made significant improvements compared to last season, particularly in physical conditioning and tactical understanding. This progress should help them cope with the heat expected during the match in Malta.

"I think we had good physical preparation in Austria, so we'll be able to maintain the tempo required by the head coach for all 90 minutes," Buyalskyi added.

Interestingly, the Ukrainian club has been studying their opponents carefully. The coaching staff has provided detailed analysis of "Hamrun Spartans'" playing style, with additional tactical sessions planned before the match.

"We know our opponent defends very well and breaks out in counterattacks. So we'll try to give them as few opportunities as possible to do this during the match," – emphasized the midfielder.
