Oleh Lukianenko's men secured their third straight Ukrainian futsal championship as "HIT" defeated "Aurora" 4:2 in the fourth match of the Futsal Extra League 2024/25 finals.

"The team showed incredible character tonight. Winning three championships in a row is never easy, but our players proved they're the best in Ukraine," – Lukianenko might have said after the decisive victory.

The triumph gave "HIT" a 3:1 series win in what proved to be an exciting Kiev derby. Ruslan Sheremeta opened the scoring in the 16th minute, followed by Oleksandr Smetanenko who extended the lead in the 21st minute.

"Aurora" fought back admirably through Stanislav Mospan, who netted twice in the 27th and 31st minutes to level the match. His double threatened to turn the tide against the defending champions.

However, "HIT" responded when it mattered most. Ihor Cherniavskyi restored their lead in the 36th minute before Oleksandr Pediash sealed the championship with a fourth goal just two minutes later.

Interestingly, while this represents a three-peat for "HIT", this final appearance marks the best result in "Aurora's" club history. Not bad for the underdogs, reaching the championship series against the dominant force in Ukrainian futsal.

Can anyone challenge "HIT's" growing dynasty next season? The competition certainly has their work cut out for them.
