Grant Liffmann has revealed that the Golden State Warriors could aggressively pursue Giannis Antetokounmpo if the Greek star becomes available on the market. The NBA analyst shared this insight during his recent appearance on the KOC Show, highlighting the franchise's commitment to maximizing the final years of Stephen Curry's illustrious career.

"They're trying to keep Steph Curry's window open... and, so, going for big fish? 100%. You don't have as much time to just get a bunch of young guys and develop them," Liffmann explained during the show.

Golden State's front office has been hampered by financial constraints recently, as evidenced by the ongoing Jonathan Kuminga situation. However, this hasn't stopped them from aiming high. Just last season, the team made a significant move by acquiring Jimmy Butler from the "Miami Heat" in a multi-team deal.

Interestingly, the Warriors have set themselves a clear two-year championship window. The contracts of Curry, Butler, and Draymond Green all expire at the conclusion of the 2026-27 season. Not much time left, is there?

While Antetokounmpo's situation with the "Milwaukee Bucks" remains unclear, his potential addition to the Warriors could immediately transform them into championship favorites. The team desperately needs reliable, high-level scoring in their starting lineup – something the Greek superstar would certainly provide.

For now, the Warriors must work within their current financial limitations and focus on addressing team weaknesses. But make no mistake – if Antetokounmpo becomes available, expect Golden State to drop everything else and go all-in.

Will the Warriors manage to land another superstar before Curry's window closes? Only time will tell, but one thing's certain – they're not giving up without a fight.
