Jamal Musiala scored a second-half hat-trick as "Bayern Munich" completely outclassed "Auckland City" in a one-sided affair that ended with a humiliating 10-0 scoreline.

The German giants wasted no time asserting their dominance with Kingsley Coman opening the scoring in just the 6th minute before adding his second in the 22nd minute. By halftime, the score was already 5-0 with Boey, Olise (who scored twice), and veteran Thomas Müller all finding the net.

"The difference in quality was obvious from the first minute. We simply faced a team from another footballing planet today," – an Auckland City representative might have commented after the match.

Musiala, who came on as a substitute for Harry Kane in the 61st minute, needed just seven minutes to make his mark. The young German international then converted from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute before completing his hat-trick in the 84th minute.

Müller wasn't done either, by the way. The experienced forward added Bayern's tenth goal just before the final whistle in the 89th minute, putting the final nail in Auckland City's coffin.

Interestingly, Bayern fielded a strong lineup despite the obvious mismatch, with captain Manuel Neuer starting in goal and Joshua Kimmich marshalling the midfield.

The New Zealanders, clearly out of their depth, made several substitutions in the second half but couldn't stem the tide of Bayern attacks. When was the last time we saw such a mismatch at this level of football?
