Nick Woltemade has grown visibly restless during Stuttgart's training camp in Tegernsee as his desired move to "Bayern Munich" hits a roadblock. The 23-year-old forward continues training normally but has made it clear to club management that he wishes to don the Bavarian giants' jersey.
Bayern Munich has decided not to submit a third offer for the young striker, according to SPORTBILD. This decision came after several internal meetings at Säbener Straße, where club executives concluded they wouldn't improve their previous proposal to Stuttgart.
"I want to join Bayern," Woltemade reportedly told Stuttgart officials, urging them to meet with representatives from the Munich club.
The Stuttgart leadership, including CEO Alexander Wehrle and Sporting Director Fabian Wohlgemuth, have maintained a firm stance. They consider Woltemade an essential piece in their sporting project for the 2025/26 season and have no intention of letting him leave. In fact, they've refused to even begin transfer discussions at this point.
Interestingly, Bayern officials haven't completely abandoned hope. They believe the player's pressure might eventually tip the scales in their favor before the transfer window closes. The Bavarian club is apparently willing to wait until the final weeks of August to see if Stuttgart's position softens.
The key question now: will Stuttgart eventually cave to their player's wishes, or will they force Woltemade to honor his commitment despite his clear desire to leave? This transfer saga might still have a few twists left.
