Oleksandr Shovkovskyi has finalized Dynamo Kyiv's 24-player squad for the upcoming UEFA Champions League second qualifying round match against Malta's Hamrun Spartans.

"We've selected our strongest available players for this important fixture. Every European qualification match requires maximum concentration," – the Dynamo coach explained when submitting the roster.

The squad includes three goalkeepers: Ruslan Neshcheret, Valentyn Morgun, and Denys Ihnatenko. Defensive options feature Kostiantyn Vivcharenko, Denys Popov, Oleksandr Tymchyk, Oleksandr Karavaiev, Taras Mykhavko, Kristian Bilovar, and Vladyslav Dubinchak.

In midfield, "Dynamo" will rely on Oleksandr Yatsyk, Volodymyr Brazhko, veteran Andriy Yarmolenko, Oleksandr Pikhalionok, Nazar Voloshyn, Mykola Shaparenko, Vladyslav Kabaiev, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, Maksym Bragaru, and Mykola Mykhailenko.

The attacking options include four forwards: Vladyslav Vanat, Fedir Zadorozhnyi, Vladyslav Supriaha, and Eduardo Guerrero.

Interestingly, the squad features a good mix of experienced players and younger talent as "Dynamo" aims to progress in Europe's elite competition.

The first leg against "Hamrun Spartans" kicks off Tuesday, July 22, at 20:00 Kyiv time on Malta. Will Shovkovskyi's tactical approach with this squad prove effective in the away fixture?
