Vladyslav Vanat earned the Man of the Match award in Ukraine's U-21 European Championship group stage fixture against Finland. The 23-year-old striker made his mark in Košice, Slovakia, finding the net in the 28th minute to break the deadlock.

"Every goal at this level means something special, especially in such an important tournament," the young forward might say after his performance.

The "Dynamo Kyiv" representative lasted 68 minutes on the pitch before being substituted, but his contribution proved decisive for coach Unai Melgosa's squad. This goal continues Vanat's impressive record with the youth national team.

According to transfermarkt data, the striker now boasts five goals and two assists across 15 appearances for Ukraine's U-21 side. Worth mentioning, he's also netted twice in 11 matches for the senior national team - not bad for a developing talent!

Interestingly, Vanat has been dominating domestically as well. The forward has claimed the Ukrainian Premier League top scorer title for two consecutive seasons, cementing his reputation as one of the country's most promising attacking talents.

The Ukrainian U-21s aren't finished with their Euro 2025 campaign yet. Their final group stage match comes against the Netherlands on Wednesday, June 18. Can Vanat deliver another standout performance against the Dutch youngsters?
