Volodymyr Brazhko found the net for "Dynamo" Kyiv in their comfortable 3-0 victory over Maltese side "Hamrun" in the second leg of their Champions League qualification match on July 29 in Lublin.
The midfielder had special supporters in the stands – his girlfriend Daria Kvitkova, a popular Ukrainian blogger, who attended the match with her son Lev.
"Having family support at matches always creates extra motivation," the midfielder could have shared after such a moment.
After the final whistle, Brazhko didn't rush to the locker room with teammates. Instead, he headed straight to Daria and, with her permission, engaged in an impromptu football session with young Lev right on the stadium pitch.
The touching scene played out on the same turf where "Dynamo" had just completed their professional duty, securing another 3-0 win against the Maltese opponents – identical to their previous result against "Hamrun".
Interestingly, while Champions League qualification matches often focus solely on the tactical and technical aspects, this heartwarming moment revealed the human side of professional football.
Isn't it these personal moments that sometimes create the most lasting memories at sporting events?
