Club Career

Fran Gámez began his senior career with CD Acero in the regional leagues during the 2010–11 season. On 16 June 2013, he signed with Atlético Saguntino, a Tercera División club, where he became an undisputed starter and team captain. In the 2015–16 season, he scored a career-best 11 goals and helped the team achieve promotion to Segunda División B.

In January 2018, Gámez transferred to RCD Mallorca after the club paid his €30,000 buyout clause. He contributed to their promotion to the Segunda División by playing in seven matches and scoring once.
