Zieliński commenced his senior career at Udinese in the 2012 season, quickly adapting to the competitive nature of Serie A. After gaining experience, he joined Empoli on loan in 2014, where he notched up notable statistics with 30 appearances and 3 assists in his first season. Showing impressive development, he spent another season on loan at Empoli and contributed 5 goals and 3 assists in 37 matches.
