Conor McGregor appears to have been involved in an altercation at a nightclub in Ibiza, with footage emerging that shows the former UFC champion seemingly throwing punches at another patron.
The incident allegedly took place at Pacha nightclub on Tuesday morning, as captured in video footage recently shared by The Sun and reviewed by Mirror Sport. McGregor, wearing a hat and sunglasses, can be seen appearing to address an unidentified man on the dancefloor before throwing what looks like two punches, with the second one appearing to connect and sending the individual to the floor.
Interestingly, the music at the venue continued playing throughout the incident, while people standing near McGregor appeared to intervene between him and other clubgoers shortly after the altercation.
Earlier in the week, the Irish fighter was spotted on the party island with TV personality Katie Price and her friend Ryan Mira, posing for a photo together.
McGregor's representatives have been approached for comment on the nightclub situation, but no statement has been issued at the time of reporting.
The 36-year-old has been absent from the UFC octagon since 2021, when he suffered a defeat to Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight. A planned comeback against Michael Chandler in 2024 fell through after McGregor sustained a toe injury.
"The fight that never happened, what could have been yeah. I would be lying to you if I didn't say that it was a tough moment," Chandler told Mirror Fighting in November 2024, reflecting on the canceled bout.
Chandler further explained his perspective: "Being the guy on the other side of the headlines with Conor McGregor is tough because he is so up and down and says a lot of things and he's always in the media."
Will this latest incident further complicate McGregor's potential return to professional fighting? The Irish fighter's out-of-cage behavior continues to make headlines while his competitive future remains uncertain.
