Gonçalo Guedes is set to join "Real Sociedad" from "Wolverhampton" in a surprisingly affordable €4 million transfer with an additional €2 million in variables. The Portuguese forward has already completed his medical examination and is expected to arrive at the Costa Vasca hotel in Donostia today at 1:00 PM before heading to Anoeta to sign his contract and pose with his new team's kit.

The 27-year-old will sign a three-year contract with the Spanish club, making him available for the league opener against his former team "Valencia" on August 16. Talk about perfect timing!

Guedes previously commanded a €40 million fee when he joined "Valencia" from "PSG" in 2018, and later cost "Wolverhampton" more than €32 million in 2022.
