Ivan Byhovchenko and Bohdan Romaniuk have moved to Ukrainian Premier League newcomers FC Kudrivka for the 2025/26 season. The two young players, both born in 2008, were officially added to the club's roster as confirmed by the UPL website.
Kudrivka, making their debut in Ukraine's top flight this season, secured the services of the young duo from "Dynamo" Kyiv's youth system. A smart move for a club looking to establish themselves at the highest level.
"We're focusing on building with young talent who can grow with the club," a source from Kudrivka's management explained. "These players represent our future vision."
Romaniuk brings slightly more experience to the table. The left-back has previously featured for "Dynamo" U-17 and U-19 squads, as well as spending time at Kyiv's "Athlet". Last season, he managed three appearances in Ukraine's youth championship – not a bad foundation for a player his age.
Byhovchenko, meanwhile, was registered with "Dynamo" U-19 but hasn't yet made his mark in official competitions. The young goalkeeper now has a chance to develop in a first-team environment. Will he get his opportunity between the posts this season?
Interestingly, Kudrivka's UPL journey has already started with a bang. The newcomers pulled off a convincing 3-1 victory against last season's silver medalists "Oleksandriya" on August 3. Not a bad way to announce yourself in the big league, right?
The addition of these youngsters signals Kudrivka's intent to build sustainably while competing in their maiden top-flight campaign.
