Juan Bezerra has decided to continue his career in Ukraine, turning down a substantial transfer offer from Cyprus. The 22-year-old Brazilian winger will remain with "Oleksandriya" despite interest from European clubs.

Cypriot club "Aris" made a €1.5 million bid for the talented South American, which "Oleksandriya" was willing to accept. However, Bezerra himself rejected the move at this stage of his career.

"The club respects Juan's decision to stay with us despite receiving serious interest from abroad," a source close to the negotiations revealed.

Bezerra's current contract with the Ukrainian side runs until June 2026, giving him plenty of time to consider his options. Interestingly, he could begin signing pre-contract agreements with other teams as early as this winter if he chooses to explore his future possibilities.

The Brazilian hasn't had the most productive start to the current campaign, appearing in three matches without registering any goals or assists. His market value currently stands at approximately €1.5 million – exactly matching the offer "Aris" put on the table.

Bezerra joined the Ukrainian championship in September 2023 as a free agent after leaving Brazilian club "Vasco". His decision to stay comes at a challenging time for "Oleksandriya", who suffered a surprising 3-1 defeat to "Kudrivka" in their opening match of the 2025/26 season.

Will the club's silver medalist from last season find his form and justify his decision to remain in Ukraine? The coming weeks should provide some answers.
