Tyson Fury shared his thoughts on the upcoming heavyweight clash between rising star Moses Itauma and veteran boxer Dillian Whyte. The former world champion believes this matchup will be a significant test for the young prospect.
"This is a big challenge for Itauma, he hasn't faced opponents of this caliber yet. Especially if we see the version of Whyte from the past few years," Fury stated.
Moses Itauma, just 20 years old and widely regarded as the world's most promising heavyweight, will face his first serious opponent in what could be a career-defining bout. The boxing community has high expectations for the youngster, but Whyte represents a substantial step up in competition.
Fury seems genuinely curious about how the match will unfold. "It will be interesting to see how much strength Whyte has left," he noted. "Maybe it's too early for Itauma to face such an opponent. Or perhaps he'll beat him easily."
