Illia Zabarnyi made his official debut for Paris Saint-Germain in their 1-0 away victory against Nantes in the opening round of Ligue 1. The Ukrainian center-back played the entire match as part of Luis Enrique's starting lineup.

"I feel very good. I really enjoyed being on the field today. I was happy to play the whole match, and I really liked it," shared the Ukrainian defender after the game.

Zabarnyi admitted that his experience in France differs significantly from his previous spell in England. He noted the contrasting playing styles between the two leagues.

"I feel good. I really enjoyed constantly being on the ball. But at the same time, I remained focused because the opponents tried to play counter-attacks with a low block, so it's completely different football than what I had before in England."

The Ukrainian international seemed particularly impressed with the atmosphere created by the "PSG" supporters during his first competitive appearance for the French champions.

"Everything went well for me, I enjoyed today's match. And I'm already in love with our fans—they're incredible! They never stop singing, it's something special. It's nice to hear them," he added.

Interestingly, Zabarnyi's smooth transition into French football comes after his summer transfer from Bournemouth, where he established himself in the Premier League.

"PSG" will look to build on their winning start when they host Angers in the next round of Ligue 1. Can the Ukrainian defender maintain his place in Enrique's starting eleven for the upcoming fixture?
