Oleksandr Usyk has responded to accusations from Daniel Dubois' trainer Don Charles, who claimed the Ukrainian boxer cheated in their first fight and committed a "great sin" despite being a religious person.

"Did it bother me? Not really. My God says that because of my name you will suffer and face many trials, but you need to always live in peace," Usyk explained when asked about the controversial comments.

The Ukrainian heavyweight champion further addressed the situation by stating he consistently prays for patience, strength, and heart to overcome all difficulties. He made it clear that Charles' words don't affect him at all.

Worth noting that their rematch is already scheduled for July 19, 2025, at London's "Wembley" Stadium. The boxing world will certainly be watching this highly-anticipated second meeting.

Their first encounter in 2023 ended with Dubois losing by knockout in the 9th round. However, the fight wasn't without controversy. In the 5th round, Dubois landed a clear low blow that left Usyk needing significant time to recover.

Will Charles' psychological tactics work before the rematch, or is Usyk's mental fortitude too strong to be rattled by such comments?
