Volodymyr Adamyuk scored twice as "Karpaty Lviv" demolished "Penuel Kryvyi Rih" 8-0 in their Ukrainian Cup 1/32 final match on August 24.

Adamyuk opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a well-placed header from a right-wing cross, before adding his second just before halftime with a delicate chip over the goalkeeper.

"The team executed our game plan perfectly today. Everyone knew their role and performed at their best level," – a satisfied Vladyslav Lupashko might have said after watching his team's dominant performance.

The floodgates truly opened after the break. Igor Krasnopir capitalized on a defensive error forced by "Karpaty's" pressing to make it 3-0 in the 48th minute. Seven minutes later, Paulo Vitor added a fourth with a fine strike from the left side of the penalty area.

The rout continued as Vladyslav Klymenko finished off a slick team move in the 62nd minute. Five minutes afterward, Patricio Tanda struck from the same left corner of the box to make it six.

Interestingly, the "lions" showed no mercy even in the final stages. Bruninho played a neat one-two with Fabiano before firing past the keeper in the 83rd minute, while Igor Neves completed the scoring by converting a counter-attack in the 90th minute.

This comprehensive victory sends "Karpaty" through to the next round in emphatic fashion. Can Lupashko's men carry this momentum forward in both cup and league competitions? The early signs are certainly promising.
