Yulia Dymar has switched clubs in Kazakhstan's volleyball championship, joining "Berel" from Ust-Kamenogorsk after previously representing "Kuanysh." The Ukrainian outside hitter has been playing in the Central Asian country since 2023, even serving as captain for "Kuanysh" last season.
The 2024/25 season proved successful for her new club, with "Berel" finishing second in Kazakhstan's regular championship standings. This move marks another step in Dymar's international career that has spanned multiple countries.
Interestingly, before joining "Berel," Dymar spent time on loan with "Zhetisu" in April 2025, helping them claim the Asian Champions League title alongside fellow Ukrainians Daria Shargorodska and Karina Denisova. That continental success added another trophy to her growing collection.
Dymar's achievements extend beyond the club level. In June 2025, she celebrated international success when she became a Golden Euroleague champion with Ukraine's national team - a significant achievement for both the player and her country.
Before establishing herself in Kazakhstan, the outside hitter built her career across several clubs. She defended the colors of French side "Stella Cale" during the 2022/23 season after playing for various Ukrainian teams - "Volyn" Lutsk (2021/22), Zhytomyr's "Polissia" (2019-2021), Zaporizhzhia's "Orbita" (2018/19), and Rivne's "Regina."
Will Dymar's move to "Berel" bring more silverware to her already impressive collection? Her track record suggests this Ukrainian athlete might just continue her winning ways in Kazakhstan.
