Iván Ania's leadership has inspired a historic achievement for "Córdoba" as the club has shattered its all-time season ticket record, reaching an unprecedented 17,000 subscribers before the Liga Hypermotion campaign even begins.
"Córdoba" officials announced that despite hitting their initially declared cap, they will extend sales for one more day due to overwhelming fan demand. Supporters keen on watching the team compete this season will have a final opportunity tomorrow to secure their place at El Arcángel stadium.
However, not all seats remain available. The entire end sections – including stands and boxes – have completely sold out. This encompasses approximately 8,000 locations, including sector four of the south zone originally designated for the animation section during matches. Only tribune and preference seats remain up for grabs.
"The high demand has led us to provide this final opportunity for our fans," the club stated through its official channels.
Interested supporters will need to follow an appointment system. "Córdoba" will release a link through their official channels on Sunday for fans to schedule appointments, with transactions only available in person or by telephone. It's worth noting that online sales were halted last week in anticipation of reaching the 17,000 mark.
This sales phase began just last Monday, following a renewal period that had already secured 14,808 season tickets – approaching last season's final tally of 16,300. With the new record, "Córdoba" has now filled over 85 percent of El Arcángel's 20,286 capacity, not counting individual match ticket sales.
The club has strategically allocated space within the stadium, setting aside 492 places for visiting supporters and reserving 356 seats for potential contingencies during league matches.
Remarkably, even during the 2014-15 season when "Córdoba" competed in La Liga (First Division), they never achieved such impressive season ticket numbers. Higher prices back then deterred many fans. The team's attractive playing style under Ania over the past two seasons has clearly reignited passion among supporters.
Some voices within the club are now suggesting what once seemed unthinkable – has El Arcángel stadium actually become too small for "Córdoba's" growing ambitions?
