Serhiy Shyshchenko, head coach of "Bukovyna" Chernivtsi, has named Dynamo Kyiv's forward Vladyslav Vanat as his ideal signing to strengthen the team's push in Ukraine's First League.
"I would like to sign Vanat. He's the Ukrainian striker who delivers results on the field. He works brilliantly in space and makes the right decisions in the final third. At the moment, he's a top player in Ukraine," – Shyshchenko stated with conviction.
Vladyslav Vanat has been in fine form recently, netting three goals and providing one assist in just six matches this season. The 23-year-old's previous campaign was even more impressive – he bagged 21 goals and contributed nine assists across 45 games, earning him the top scorer title in the 2024/25 Premier League.
Meanwhile, Shyshchenko's "Bukovyna" has made a decent start to their First League campaign. The Chernivtsi club currently sits sixth in the standings with five points from three matches – two draws and a win. Not bad for a team with promotion ambitions.
By the way, the club's management has made no secret of their desire to compete for a spot in Ukraine's elite division. Would Vanat's goalscoring prowess be the missing piece in their promotion puzzle?
With such a prolific striker potentially on their radar, "Bukovyna" fans might have something exciting to look forward to. But can a First League side really attract a player who's currently banging in goals for one of Ukraine's biggest clubs?
