Viktor Skripnik has decided to start Dryshliuk in the defensive midfield position as "Zorya" Luhansk prepares to face "Kryvbas" Kryvyi Rih in the closing match of the Ukrainian Premier League's third round at the Dynamo Stadium named after V. Lobanovskyi.
"After our victory against Kudrivka, we needed to make some tactical adjustments to strengthen our midfield presence," – Skripnik might explain about his lineup choice.
Patrick van Leeuwen, coming off a confident 2-0 win against "Metalist 1925" Kharkiv, has made his own adjustments to the starting eleven. The Dutch specialist positioned Borges on the left side of defense while deploying Araujo in the holding midfielder role.
Zorya's lineup features Saputin between the posts, with a defensive line of Perduta, Jordan, Bashich, and Juninho. The midfield will be managed by Salenko, Dryshliuk, and Michin, while the attacking duties fall to Vakula, Budkivskyi, and Slesar.
For the visitors, Kemkin starts in goal behind a back four of Yurchets, Konate, Vilivald, and Borges. Tverdokhlib, Araujo, and Zaderaka form the midfield trio, with Mykityshyn, Parako, and Mendoza leading the attack.
Interestingly, Zorya has prepared a substantial bench with 12 substitutes available, including Turbayevskyi, Kosivskyi, Malysh, Yanich, and Eskinha among others. This depth could prove crucial if the match requires tactical adjustments.
Both teams enter this fixture with momentum from previous victories. "Zorya" edged past Kudrivka 2-1, while "Kryvbas" handled "Metalist 1925" with a clean 2-0 win. Will this create an evenly matched contest, or will one side's tactical approach prove superior? The third round's final match promises to deliver answers.
